How to Get to Leipzig by Plane
Ryanair operates direct flights to Leipzig from London Stansted and there are a number of routes to the city from other destinations throughout Europe. The major airlines offering flights to Leipzig include KLM, Lufthansa, Germanwings, Austrian Airlines and Etihad Airways. Leipzig Halle Airport is located around 22 km from central Leipzig. Trains to and from the airport take approximately 15 minutes and leave every half hour.
