How to Get to Kiev by Plane

Direct flights to Kiev are available from London Gatwick Airport, Heathrow Airport, Luton, Edinburgh Airport and Manchester Airport. Flights from other regional airports are also available but may not be direct journeys. British Airways and Aeroflot both offer extensive connections between the UK and Kiev whilst Wizz Air and Ukranian Airlines also provide flights. On arrival you will land at Boryspil International Airport which is roughly 27 km east of the city of Kiev. Boryspil is the country's largest airport and has an extensive ground transportation network. There are many bus, hire car and taxi services that operate from the airport. A rail line is also being constructed to help deal with the demand created by the increased numbers of international flights and is due to be completed in 2015.

Kiev

Since the relaxation of Visa requirements necessary for entry into the country, Kiev has seen a steady and welcome increase in tourism. In recent years more people than ever have been able to enjoy the beautiful and historical Golden Gate, which was the ancient entry point to the city fortress. Now a world renowned museum the Gate is arguable the city's premier attraction. However, if you're eager to let your hair down and have some fun then Hidropark is the place for you. Sprawling across 900 acres the park offers a huge range of water sports as well as tennis, football, paintball and a variety of restaurants, bars and clubs. Huge but well maintained Hidropark has something for everyone.
