Save money by buying what the Dutch call an "OV-chipkaart", a plastic card on which credit can be loaded for numerous journeys. They're available from vending machines at the railway station and bus company offices.

Despite Eindhoven Airport currently ranking as the second-busiest in the Netherlands, direct flights to Eindhoven from the United Kingdom are limited to only a few routes. Ryanair run a regular direct service from London Stansted, Glasgow and Dublin. KLM flights to Eindhoven can be caught from London City Airport. An indirect route can also be taken by flying to Amsterdam in the first instance and then on to the city of Eindhoven. Located just five miles from the city centre, Eindhoven Airport has two bus services which operate in-between here and Eindhoven itself. In addition, a shuttle bus links the airport to the main train station. Taxis are available from the main terminal, with a journey to the city taking roughly twenty minutes.
