How to Get to Chisinau by Plane
Flights to Chisinau International Airport leave from Heathrow daily, with the airport being serviced by several different airlines. These include Aeroflot, Air Moldova and Lufthansa, among others. Flights can take anywhere from six to twenty hours depending on the route, and most go via other European cities such as Vienna, Bucharest or Berlin.
There are two options to get into the centre of the city from Chisinau International Airport. Look for the white minibuses parked outside the main terminal - these will be marked with the number 165 to indicate their route. Or you can take a taxi - they are plentiful around the airport. Note that taxi drivers do not accept credit cards. The airport is not serviced by trains.
