After our holiday in Sweden, the ferry connection from Trelleborg to Rostock was the best option to get home comfortably and directly. We looked at various routes, but the ferry was the most practical and time-saving option with the campervan. Boarding was straightforward and well organised, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had not booked a cabin and used the seating areas - these were sufficiently comfortable, although a little cramped on longer journeys. The ferry was clean and the toilets were cleaned regularly. We always felt safe on board. We travelled in the afternoon, the crossing was quiet and punctual. Wifi was available, but a little slow. Snacks and drinks were available on board, the offer was okay, but a little higher in price. We thought the price-performance ratio was reasonable for the ticket with camper. Overall, a pleasant, stress-free return journey.

We often travel to Sweden to visit some of our family. We like to use the usual ferries for this, as we are travelling with a dog and a car. TT-Line offers good value for money and is usually on time, provided the ferry is running. The cabins are functional and adequate for one night, but on the whole nothing special. The minus point for me is the absolutely unfriendly customer service.

IconThe food was not so good
We took the TT Line ferry to travel from Trelleborg to Rostock. The ferry was really great. We even had an outside cabin with a sea view for the crossing. In the cabin we had two beds, a sofa, a table and a bathroom equipped with a shower, washbasin and toilet. There was also a large mirror. The cabin was really practical so that you had a little retreat. There is free wifi on the ship. Unfortunately, the wifi coverage was not complete, so there were areas (for example on deck or in the cabins) where there was no wifi. There are designated smoking areas on the outside decks. There was also a dog toilet. The food in the bar and restaurant was really tasty. The cinnamon buns are highly recommended. The staff at reception are very friendly. The board language is English. You won't get far with German. We were on board as foot passengers. There was a shuttle bus from Trelleborg harbour directly to the ferry, which took us there free of charge. It picked us up about 45 minutes before the ferry left. This shuttle bus was free of charge. When we arrived in Rostock, another shuttle bus was waiting to take us from the ferry to the terminal. This bus was also free of charge for us. All in all, we have nothing but good things to say about the ferry trip and would do it again.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconThe food was not tasty
We have been travelling to Sweden and back with Stena Line for years. This time, too, the ferry was on time and the cabin was clean. The food in the restaurant was unfortunately not so good, so we will probably do without it in future. Loading and unloading can take a long time in the summer months.
