Pássaro Marron is a Brazilian bus company founded in 1935 by Portuguese immigrants Affonso José Teixeira and Affonso de Carvalho Teixeira. The company, originally named Pássaro Azul (Blue Bird), changed its name to Pássaro Marron (Brown Bird) due to the color of its vehicles becoming brown from the dust on unpaved roads. Headquartered in Guarulhos, São Paulo, Pássaro Marron operates a fleet of approximately 450 buses, serving various routes between the capital and the Paraíba Valley, North Coast, Alto Tietê, and Southern Minas Gerais. The company offers intercity bus services, bus rentals, and even used vehicle sales. Pássaro Marron is known for its comfortable buses and friendly service, with many routes offering amenities like Wi-Fi and toilets.
