Passengers may board the bus at any of these points before it leaves the city and continues on to Vigo. There are basic facilities only at Porto Bus Station on Campo 24 de Agosto. All bus stops, however, are within walking distance of shops, cafes and restaurants. Porto's transport network is made up of local buses, a light rail system and Metro routes. 

Arrival bus station: Every bus from Porto to Vigo arrives at Vigo Bus Station. This is a large station located on Avenida de Madrid slightly to the southeast of the city centre. It is within 20 minutes walk of the Vigo's historic heart and the port. Vigo has an efficient network of local buses although it is small enough to enjoy exploring on foot. Among the facilities at the bus station are car parking, a ticket office and automatic ticket machines, toilets, an ATM, a cafe and kiosk shops. Further shops and cafes can be found in the streets near the bus station.

Which coach providers travel from Porto to Vigo?

Three companies operate a bus route from Porto to Vigo. Many of the routes are operated by Autna but FlixBus and Eurolines also have a few daily departures.

Autna Porto to Vigo

Autna is a provider of affordable bus travel across Spain and Portugal. Although a relatively new company its routes are expanding all the time. The Autna route from Porto to Vigo takes between two hours and two hours 45 minutes with buses leaving from early morning until mid-evening. There are at least five daily departures.

 FlixBus Porto to Vigo

The international travel provider FlixBus operates four daily buses from Porto to Vigo. The first departure is in the early hours of the morning. There is a further morning departure followed by two departures in the afternoon. The journey time is approximately 2.5 hours.

Eurolines Switzerland Porto to Vigo

Eurolines Switzerland is a European subsidiary of National Express Coach Services. It operates three daily routes from Porto to Vigo with a journey time of two hours 45 minutes. Departures are early morning. lunchtime and late afternoon.

Porto to Vigo Coach: Services on Board

Standard tickets only are available on buses from Porto to Vigo. Specific seats, however, may be reserved. All three providers have a modern fleet of coaches with comfortable seating and onboard facilities that include generous legroom, ample luggage space and air-conditioning or heating depending on the season. Wifi and power outlets are available on FlixBus and Eurolines coaches but not on Autna routes. FlixBus and Eurolines coaches have toilets but there are none on Autna buses. Regular comfort stops are made. All three providers carry foldable bicycles. There is a charge for this service which must be pre-booked. While service animals are allowed on Autna routes, no animals at all are permitted on FlixBus and Eurolines coaches. Wheelchairs can be folded and stored in the holds of the coaches but there is no onboard access for wheelchairs on this route. All assistance possible will be given to passengers with limited mobility.
