How to Get to Eastbourne by Bus

National Express have coach services from London Victoria Coach Station twice a day at roughly 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Brighton and Hove Buses have services to and from Brighton, and Stagecoach Buses have services to Tunbridge Wells, Heathfield, Uckfield, Hailsham, Willingdon, Polegate, Pevensey Bay, Bexhill and Hastings. There is no central bus station in Eastbourne, however most services stop at the bus-only area at Terminus Road, close to the shopping precinct.

Eastbourne is a popular seaside town on the south coast of England in the county of East Sussex. Eastbourne is close to Beachy Head, which at 162 metres are the tallest chalk sea cliffs in Britain. The red and white lighthouse at the foot of the cliff is over 100 years old. There is also beautiful countryside around the cliffs in the South Downs Nation Park and plenty of walking trails to enjoy. The South Downs Way starts at the western edge of Eastbourne and heads all the way to Winchester. The town has a classic seafront with bandstands, gardens, a promenade and the wonderful pier. Eastbourne has plenty of excellent restaurants and public houses serving traditional local cuisine, as well as cuisine from all over the world. There is also a lively cultural scene, with excellent theatres, music venues and art galleries. There are also museums where you can learn more about the town's history.
