Buses from Budapest to Bratislava are provided by FlixBus, RegioJet, Eurolines and METRO. Buses depart every hour between 6:00 a.m. and 23:15 p.m. and are available 7-days a week. Direct services take an average of two hours and 45 minutes, while services with one change take an average of four hours and 45 minutes. Prices start at around £7 for a one-way ticket.
Departure Stations: Buses from Budapest to Bratislava depart from Népliget Bus Station which can be found to the east of city and is easily accessible by metro, bus or tram. Journey times from the centre are approximately 10 minutes. Flixbus buses leave from nearby Könyves Kálmán körút, which is also where many of the local buses stop.
Arrival Station: FlixBus buses from Budapest to Bratislava arrive at the historic Einsteinova, which is across the Danube river in the city centre. From there, it is a 30-minute walk to the Old Town. All other bus companies arrive at Bratislava AS Mlynské Nivy, which is one mile to the east of the Old Town.
