The return journey from Frankfurt to Berlin in 2nd class was very pleasant and uncomplicated. The train was modern and clean, the seats were comfortable and even during the long journey there was a feeling of sufficient space. Wifi, power sockets and the on-board bistro made the journey even more comfortable. The atmosphere in the carriage was relaxed and the staff were friendly and attentive. A particularly positive aspect was that the train was on time and the connection worked smoothly. All in all, a pleasant and relaxed return journey that I would happily repeat in this form.

Overall, the ICE journey was pleasant for me. I particularly liked the fact that the train was very modern and everything looked new. The announcements were also clear and concise, so I always knew when we were arriving. An additional advantage was that I could charge my mobile phone easily as there was a socket at my seat. One disadvantage was that the train was slightly late, which meant I missed my connection. Nevertheless, I would take the ICE again as it is very comfortable and I felt at ease.

The return journey from Frankfurt to Berlin in second class was a pleasant journey for me. The train was clean and the atmosphere was quiet, which made the long journey very relaxing. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The seating areas were well designed so that you could either work in peace or chat as required. The large windows gave me a good view of the scenery, which made the time pass more quickly. The announcements were clear and informative without being too frequent. Overall, the journey was punctual and well organised, so I arrived in Berlin feeling relaxed. For me, it was an all-round successful trip that I would happily repeat.

I was actually looking forward to the direct connection, but the journey was a pain. The train was over 30 minutes late and then extremely full. No seat reservation was possible, so we stood in the aisle for a long time. The toilets were filthy and the temperature on the train was also unpleasant, it was far too warm. Compared to the car journey, it was neither cheaper nor more pleasant this time.

The journey on the ICE 998 from Frankfurt to Berlin started at 7 a.m. with a delay of 50 minutes, and the train was also very crowded due to the cancellation of other trains. The seating comfort was okay, but unfortunately the toilets were not very clean, which spoilt the overall impression. A positive aspect was the favourable price thanks to the Bahncard. Despite the initial delay, the planned journey time was adhered to.

I travelled to Berlin for a night with my friends to try out the food there. The ICE connection was the best option for us. The outward journey was early in the morning. Very quiet and pleasant. The train was clean and on time, and the wifi worked well too. The return journey was also surprisingly pleasant. We hadn't booked any seats and we were still able to sit down as there was enough space. We paid 71.98 euros each for the outward and return journey. A very good price-performance ratio.

It was particularly practical that drinks and small snacks were offered during the journey, which added to the comfort. The announcements were clear and informative, so I was always well informed. Overall, a solid and relaxing journey that I would choose again.

The train was clean and tidy, which I found really positive. My seat was also available without a reservation and was well located. Unfortunately, the compartment was very noisy. Several groups were talking on the phone or listening to music without headphones. There was no visible control or address by the staff. For people who want to travel in a relaxed manner, this was rather stressful. I did get to my destination, but not as relaxed as I would have liked.

Unfortunately, the journey was disappointing. The train was already over twenty minutes late on departure, without anyone informing us. Neither the display nor the loudspeakers worked in the carriage, so there were no announcements or instructions. The seat was saggy and the table wobbled a lot. The toilet was in poor condition, without paper and visibly unkempt. The only positive thing was that the train then travelled through without stopping, but overall I didn't feel well looked after. I had expected more, especially with the ticket price.

I recently took a train journey from Frankfurt to Berlin and overall the experience was mixed. The price for the journey was unfortunately not that cheap and I found it a bit high compared to other means of transport. Although the train left on time, there were some delays along the way, which frustrated me a bit. However, what stood out positively was the comfort of the seats and the cleanliness of the train. The seats were soft and offered enough legroom for me to sleep well during the journey. The cleanliness on the train was also impressive, there were no piles of rubbish or scattered papers. Unfortunately, there was not enough choice of snacks and drinks on board and the prices were quite high. Entertainment options were also limited, there was no wifi or entertainment system. Overall, I have to say that the train journey from Frankfurt to Berlin was not the best value for money. Although there were a few positive aspects, I would probably choose a different mode of transport on my next trip.

Facilities: due to the fact that many people wanted to use the wifi at the same time, the connection was very poor. Power sockets were available and functional. Seats were clean and comfortable. The service staff was friendly and could pass on information about the relevant train connection. The toilet was ok so far. The compartment was clean. Price is ok. The journey was delayed.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconNo coffee, no food until approx. 6:00 a.m.
I had decided to travel to Berlin at night via Mannheim. The journey was quite relaxed, as there are very few travellers on the road at that time. A definite disadvantage, however, is that Mannheim station is closed at night and the on-board restaurant is also not in operation. Unfortunately, it is not even possible to organise a coffee until about 6:00 in the morning. One advantage is the quietness and also the punctuality seems to be much better, even the bottleneck Frankfurt did not cause any delays. An additional advantage was the low price for the train ticket, probably also due to the lower demand at this time of travel, which also led to better usability of the wifi.

Super pleasant journey, the seats were very comfortable, I still had a table and wifi available. In addition, the train was at a pleasant temperature and the conductor was very nice and took a lot of time for each person. The reservation was also no problem and went quickly. However, the toilets were even worse, because there was no more toilet paper and they weren't really clean either, unfortunately.

A while ago, I took the ICE to Berlin in 1st class without a BahnCard - if you book your travel day early, you can travel from Frankfurt to Berlin for less than 35 euros - first class, in the truest sense of the word. Even at great times, so that you still have something of Berlin. As always, on time, comfortable and faster - and more relaxed than in your own car. First class provided, I haven't had to experience any really bad carry-ons here yet. Always a pleasure!
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconIt was very loud on the train
That was a solid journey. It was from Frankfurt to Berlin. I had a window on my seat and I was in the rest area. This was a second class journey the wifi was good, the staff were also very friendly and you could order lots of things. The train was five minutes more punctual than expected point I can really recommend it that was also relatively cheap. The toilets smelled very good. The toilets were also very clean. Everything was hygienic.
Advantages
IconPunctuality of the train

IconAir conditioning in the train

Disadvantages
IconOn-board bistro was only available to a limited extent
I found the train journey very pleasant. The reason for this was, on the one hand, the very friendly and helpful train staff and, on the other hand, the very comfortable seating and only slightly crowded train. The only negative point was that the on-board bistro could only be used to a limited extent on this day, because the water had problems beforehand. All in all, it was still a very good trip and I would do it again. The train was on time and we were able to keep all our plans.
Advantages
IconGood wifi, punctuality
Disadvantages
IconThe food did not taste good
The train arrived on time. The food was good, but unfortunately I didn't like it. It has a great price-performance ratio. The train was very clean, the toilets were also very, very clean. The staff were very friendly to me and smiled at me where I got on. I can recommend it because it was so cheap.
Advantages
IconVery tasty food and clean toilets
Disadvantages
IconThe train was a little late.
Unfortunately, the train was half an hour late. When I got on, the staff looked at me very friendly. The staff were very nice and gave me the food. The food tasted very good. My fruit tea was also very tasty. I had wifi on the train and my reclining seat was very comfortable. Overall, this is also great value for money. I can recommend it. So this deserves four stars out of five. All in all, a good trip!
Advantages
IconPunctuality, cleanliness, nice employees
This train journey was very pleasant in 2nd class. The wifi was top notch I had no internet problems at all. My seat in second class was a reclining seat, which was very comfortable. For dinner I ordered a croissant, which tasted very good. I had a fruit tea to drink, which also tasted very good. The service was top. I didn't have to wait at all for my food or drink. The toilet was very modern, I have rarely experienced something so cool that there was a shower in a train. The train also arrived on time and for such a price. Great value for money. I can only recommend it.
Advantages
IconNice staff
IconHigh standard of cleanliness
IconGood price-performance ratio
IconPleasant design of the train compartments
Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi
IconUncomfortable seats
The train journey from Frankfurt to Berlin was a really great experience. The train was equipped with modern facilities, which made the journey particularly pleasant. The friendly staff helped to make the atmosphere on board very pleasant and I felt comfortable. The cleanliness of the train was impressive throughout. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well-maintained, which contributed to an overall hygienic impression. The well thought-out design of the train compartments also helped to keep everything tidy. In terms of value for money, the train journey to Berlin was definitely worth the money. The amenities on offer, such as the courteous service, are well balanced in relation to the ticket price. The investment in travelling costs seemed justified to me in view of the quality on offer. Of course, there were also some points that could be improved. The wifi on board was unfortunately not reliable, which made my use of internet services more difficult. The seats could also be more comfortable, especially on this longer journey to Berlin. Despite these small areas for improvement, the train journey was quite a pleasant experience. I think I will take this train journey again soon. However, I hope for improvements to the wifi and more comfortable seats.

On the whole, the train from Frankfurt am Main to Berlin was a pleasant journey. The staff were nice and courteous and had answers to all questions. The train was fast and was able to travel through to Berlin without many delays. The comfort was also very good, as there was a power socket connected to your seat. Unfortunately, the toilets were not clean, which was a little annoying, and it was not possible to reserve a seat for this train.

The outward journey was much more pleasant for me than the return journey. The train was on time and both the toilets and the compartment were very hygienic. What I would also like to point out is that the temperature on the train was comfortable. I recommend the train connection.
