If you're being collected by car, you'll find a parking area just left of the station as you exit. For those of an athletic disposition, there are lots of sports facilities in the immediate vicinity, such as the Sophia Gardens cricket ground, the Sport Wales National Centre and the open green spaces of the Pontcanna Fields. You're also only a few steps from the shops, brewhouses and other attractions of the Riverside area.
