Your Guide to Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura’s blend of natural beauty and build-up areas make it one of the most popular Canary Island destinations. Noted for being a volcanic island, part of the appeal of the island is its diversity; you can get lost in the crowd in Corralejo or Costa Caleta, or head just out of town and have the beach all to yourself.

The first is to fly into Fuerteventura Airport, otherwise known as El Matorral Airport, which is located 5km from the city of Puerto del Rosario and 40 km from Corralejo. Alternatively, you can get a cruise ship from the other Canary Islands. If flying into the airport visitors can take a shuttle bus into the town centre.
