General Information About the Journey from Budapest to Bratislava

Though situated in different countries, these two cities only 200 km apart and relatively simple to get between. The links between the two cities by rail and by bus are fairly frequent and mostly feature direct routes. Trains are not much faster than the bus service, and more expensive. While flights are possible, there are no direct flights available with all flights requiring a change in Prague, which makes travelling by plane a longer, as well as a more expensive, option.
