Travelling from Newcastle Upon Tyne to London

It is just less than 500km between Newcastle and London. The plane is the quickest option unless a flight with stopovers is chosen. The train goes from the main Newcastle station to King's Cross, the train station at Newcastle is near the coach station. Travelling from Newcastle to London

Trains

There is only one direct connection from Newcastle Upon Tyne to London which arrives at King's Cross Station. They are run by Virgin Trains and Grand Central Trains. Trains between Newcastle and London are frequent, departing twice in an hour. It takes an average of three hours and there's usually no need to change.
