Transmapi Ferries is the leading provider of ferry transport between the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Formentera in Spain and the Pityusic islands. It has been in operation for more than 40 years and boasts modern, well-equipped ships for safe, fast crossings. The company transports a million passengers each year. Ferries are fully air-conditioned and boast indoor seating and deck access. Pets and children under four travel free. Bicycles, smaller motorbikes and 100% electric vehicles are transported free of charge.
Transmapi offers travellers 27 return crossings daily, between Ibiza and Formentera. The journey begins at Ibiza port and ends at La Savina port in the north of Formentera – a distance of 17km. Trips take approximately 30-35 minutes each. The company operates nine ferries and also offers eight daily trips between the Pityusic Islands. During summer this increases to 20 per day. Transmapi ferries can accommodate 250 to 450 passengers. Several ferries are able to transport vehicles.

Trasmapi offers only fast connectios between Ibiza and Formentera. Boats depart every 30 minutes.
Transmapi endeavors to make sure that ferries depart on time as scheduled. In the event that a ferry is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances or bad weather, your fee will be refunded in full or your trip rescheduled.
Transmapi offers special assistance to passengers with limited mobility. If passengers provide 24 hours of notice and information about the type of special assistance required, Transmapi will arrange the necessary assistance. Guide dogs for visually impaired passengers may access the lounge area alongside passengers, provided emergency exits are not blocked.
Domestic pets such as dogs and cats are allowed on board. Pets are kept in a carrier in the lounge. Should the carrier exceed acceptable dimensions, your pet will travel on the deck, weather permitting. All dogs must be muzzled and on a lead. Pets are not allowed inside vehicles.
