Flights to Valencia

Catching a flight to Valencia, the third largest city in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona, is made easy with direct connections from all over the UK. The city boasts both the arts and cultural scene of Madrid and a laidback city-beach theme that’s usually attributed to Barcelona, giving Valencia the best of both worlds. Much of the city’s appeal lies in its Avant Garde approach to architecture. Gothic and Baroque buildings exist alongside 19th century modernist architecture and more recent landmarks. Valencia

Valencia is one of Spain's most southerly cities, with a hot dry climate, ancient monuments and many cultural attractions. Take a stroll down the winding streets of the Barrio del Carmen which is lined with buildings that date back to Roman and Arabic times. The city is dotted with medieval churches, and beautiful squares and gardens and there are a number of stunning market buildings, including the Silk Exchange market which is recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and the Central Market - one of the largest of its kind in Europe. Pay a visit to the city's Oceanographic Institute which houses Europe's largest aquarium and is renowned for its marine research and get involved with La Tomatina festival - essentially the world's biggest tomato fight - which draws crowds to the nearby town of Buñol each summer.
