How to Get to Salzburg by Plane

Flights to Salzburg can be boarded at London Heathrow Airport, with British Airways, Airberlin and Germanwings operating on this route, among other providers. The first flight of the day departs at around 6:00 a.m., with the final flight leaving at roughly 10:30 p.m. Most flights across this route require a stopover with the most frequent destinations being Berlin and Dusseldorf International Airports. A direct flight between London and Salzburg takes about 2 hours over a distance of approximately 1,300 kilometres. On arrival you will land at Salzburg International Airport, located approximately 3 kilometres from the city centre. Most visitors complete their journey into Salzburg via taxi or hire car, however a shuttle bus operates every 10 minutes, connecting the airport with the city's other major transport links.
