Founded in France, BlaBlaCar Bus provides connections to over 300 destinations. Standard amenities on the coaches include air conditioning, toilets, USB and power outlets for charging phones, tablets and laptops during long coach journeys, extra legroom and adjustable seats. Make the most of the winter ski season with regular bus services from Geneva to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc operated by SwissTours, BlaBlaBus, AlpyBus and FlixBus. All routes are direct with journey times that vary from one to two hours. During the ski season, there are at least one dozen daily departures on weekdays and up to two dozen at the weekend. The first coach leaves in the early morning and, in the week, the last departure is mid-evening. At the weekend, the last departure is late at night. Once the ski season finishes, there are slightly fewer services. Departures are from either Geneva Airport or Place Dorciere with routes terminating on the Avenue de Courmayeur in Chamonix.

Arrival bus station: The bus from Geneva to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc finishes its journey on Avenue de Courmayeur in Chamonix. Chamonix is a small resort that is compact enough to explore on foot. Local buses and trains link it to nearby villages and other ski resorts.

All four coach operators offer standard tickets only on buses from Geneva to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Specific seats can be reserved on some routes. Coaches are safe, modern and comfortable with generous legroom. Suitcases and skis are stored in the hold while in the coach, hand luggage can be put in overhead racks or under the seats. Some operators make an additional charge for carrying skis. An additional charge is also made for the carriage of foldable bicycles. Skis and bicycles must be pre-booked. Toilets, wifi and power sockets are available on FlixBus, AlpyBus and BlaBlaBus coaches but not on SwissTour buses. No animals are allowed on FlixBus services but the other three operators permit certified service animals to travel with their owners. There are no wheelchair spaces onboard the coaches but foldable wheelchairs can be stored in the holds of coaches and all possible assistance is given to passengers with limited mobility.
